CPSC Recalls

About this reference

Every consumer product recall issued by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is made public through saferproducts.gov. This site is a fast, searchable mirror — every recall, indexed by manufacturer, retailer, country of manufacture, and year.

What is CPSC?

The CPSC is an independent agency of the U.S. federal government created by the Consumer Product Safety Act of 1972. It regulates the sale and manufacture of more than 15,000 types of consumer products used in and around the home. When a product poses a substantial risk of injury, the CPSC announces a recall in cooperation with the manufacturer, importer, or distributor.
