The recall includes propane that may have been purchased from the retailers listed below: State Distributors Alabama: Country Gas, Dowdle Gas. Arkansas: Famers Supply. California: Aeropres Corp., Amerigas Propane, Enterprise Products, Ferrell North America, Heritage Propane, Kiva Energy, Mutual Liquid Gas and Equipment, Pacific Coast Propane LLC, Sal's Propane, Inc., Suburban Propane, LP, Targa Liquids Marketing, Ted Johnson Propane Co., United Pacific Energy. Mississippi: Columbus Butane, Coombs Gas, Dowdle Gas, Enterprise LP, Graeber Bros., Johnson Propane Gas, F.O. James, Pontotoc Butane Gas, Rebel Gas, Thomas LP. Tennessee: Baker Gas & Oil, Brownsville Utility, Coombs Gas, Dixie Gas, Dowdle Gas, Tennergy, Wilder LP Gas.

Hazards

An odorant is added to propane to help alert customers to a propane gas leak, but this propane might not have the recommended level of odorant. Failure to detect leaking gas can present a fire, explosion or thermal burn hazard to consumers.

Reported injuries

None reported.

Remedy

Consumers with propane purchased or delivered between January 2008 and October 2008 should immediately contact their propane gas suppliers or retail locations where home propane tank or portable cylinders were filled for testing of the propane and to receive additional odorant as needed.
